Hi! We are Alejandro and Jamileth, the owners and founders of Destination Wedding Stories, a wedding videography company located in tropical Costa Rica. We have been in the videography business for almost a decade and the wedding industry for over five years.
Why we make wedding films? We love what we do; we enjoy meeting people; we love filming the most important day of their lives and being able to capture the joy and true emotions that are being revealed on their special day. We also love what we do because we know that we are capable of creating pieces of art and that is such a rewarding experience.
Alejandro was born and raised in San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica. In 2004 he decided to move to a surfer town called Tamarindo, located in Guanacaste, on the northern pacific coast. Two years later, he met Jamileth for the first time. There was an instant connection, a chemistry you feel when you know that there is much more than just friendship. In 2009 she decided to leave her home country Nicaragua and move to Tamarindo and the love between them grew even deeper.
In 2012 we invested in the best quality equipment and we both became fulltime videographers. Our passion for weddings began after shooting our first wedding two years later; we got to experience the laughs, the love and the pure joy a wedding day expose. Happiness is contagious and this involvement behind the cameras made us feel happy and good inside. We understood that this was our call, capturing weddings and peoples most important moments was something that felt meaningful.

In our free time, we appreciate our quality time together with our 8-year-old daughter and our two dogs. We love spending time outdoors; going out for a bike ride, having a picnic at the beach and watching the amazing Guanacaste sunsets. We also enjoy to socialize and have fun with friends and to have a glass of sparkling or red.
